What are the Global Councils on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?
The Global Councils on SDGs is a unique interdisciplinary network of decision makers from governments, international organizations, academia, charitable organizations, and the private sector, who work together to oversee innovative projects and discuss creative ideas towards the implementation of the 17 SDGs at national and global levels.
Our Nexus Model Approach
For the 2021 - 2023 term, our council members are collaborating to make an impact on SDGs 4, 8, and 17, using a Nexus model approach.

Specifically, our Council is working to advance progress on the Nomu initiative pioneered by the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation to further the realization of the SDGs in focus.
