TechUp

In partnership with Udacity

TechUp is a Nomu pathway that empowers youth with training in diverse levels of digital fluency and in-demand skills to be tech-ready and become the UAE’s future leaders and entrepreneurs.

Given evidence-based research and private sector validation of skills required in the UAE job market, TechUp focuses on three fundamental areas: User Design and Research, Agile and Agile Frameworks, and Data Analysis & Data Visualization with Microsoft Power BI.

This project aims to digitally empower youth in the UAE to become ready for the digital economy through various levels of digital fluency and advanced nano degree specializations. The project was launched in March 2022, in partnership with Udacity.

Siraj

In partnership with CNN Arabic

The Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation launched “Siraj” in June 2022 in partnership with CNN Arabic. As one pathway of the Nomu initiative, Siraj provides youth with transferable skills to prepare them to be competitive candidates in the job market.

This project aims to provide youth with WEF transferable skills to prepare them to be competitive candidates in the job market. The project was implemented between August 2022 – November 2023, in partnership with CNN Arabic.

Project Hama

In partnership with the Prime Minister Office (PMO)

Project Hama’ is the first of its kind initiative that focuses on enhancing the readiness of female national service recruits.

under the leadership of the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, this project aims to enhance professional and transferable skills of Emirati female military recruits to improve their employability. The project was launched in August 2022.

LEAP Talent Incubators

In partnership with Project You

This project aims to provide youth with Mckinsey Global Institute future job skills and industry experience for employment pathways, in the creative sectors. The project was implemented between in March – August 2023, in partnership with Project You.

Training of LEAP Talent Incubators will be a combination of work-integrated learning, project-based activities, and industry challenges.

Nomu Cyber

This project aims to upskill youth in the strategic sector of Cyber Security to be employed as Cyber Security and Networks Engineers and Technical practitioners. The project was launched in July 2023, In partnership with Sprints.

Nomu Women

This project aims to upskill Emirati females with industry recognized management trainings and provide them with career guidance and access to the private sector for internships and career opportunities. The project was launched in November 2023., in partnership with Skyrize Partners.
